Salary: Approx. $85k plus super & leave loading
About the role
The Contracts Administrator will join our Property team, which plays a vital role in maintaining safe, sustainable housing across our portfolio.
In this hands-on, role, you will support the administration of contracts, service agreements and commercial leases related to unison owned and managed properties. review, monitor,. You will work closely with contractors, landlords, tenants, and internal teams to ensure contracts are accurate, compliant, and aligned with performance expectations. You’ll also help drive improvements in contract tracking, performance reporting, and cost-efficiency initiatives.
Key responsibilities:
- Assist with the Preparation, review and processing of contracts and commercial leases.
- Ensure documentation aligns with relevant legal, regulatory, and compliance requirements.
- Maintain a centralised contract register, to actively track key milestones, renewal and completion dates.
- Monitor contractor performance against agreed measures and escalate issues or support corrective actions where required.
- Help resolve contract-related queries and escalate risks or issues where needed.
- Build positive working relationships with internal teams, contractors, landlords, and tenants to support smooth communication and delivery.
- Contribute to cost-saving initiatives across the property function.
- Prepare reports to support decision-making and ensure compliance with performance measures.
What we’re looking for
- Proven experience in contract management or administration within property, facilities, or asset management.
- Demonstrated knowledge of commercial leasing.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills knowing how to build trust, negotiate and follow up with care.
- Ability to manage multiple contracts and priorities with a proactive and detail-oriented approach.
- Proficiency in using contract management systems or tools (e.g., Excel, contract databases).
