Salary: approx. $90k plus super & leave loading
About the role
Step into a role where your property and people skills genuinely change lives. As a Place Manager (THM), you’ll manage a portfolio of renters, acting as their key point of contact for everything from onboarding and maintenance to tenancy support. You’ll build strong, respectful relationships, help renters sustain safe and stable housing, coordinate repairs, manage rent and compliance, and keep each property in great shape. You’ll also support renters through challenges, encourage their involvement with their support network, and ensure all records and tenancy actions are handled with care.
The role is based at our Footscray office but will require some travelling to properties.
What we’re looking for
We’re looking for someone who brings:
- Experience or qualifications in real estate, property management, or housing
- A solid understanding of the Residential Tenancies Act (RTA)
- Strong tenancy management skills
- Confidence managing high volumes of administration, documentation and compliance with accuracy and attention to detail
- Experience coordinating maintenance, liaising with contractors and ensuring timely, quality property upkeep
- The ability to work professionally and respectfully with a wide range of renters, including those with more complex needs
- Clear, confident communication skills with the ability to build rapport with renters
- Initiative, resilience and a positive, solutions‑focused approach to challenges
