Status: Full-time, Ongoing

Salary: Approx $89k plus super & annual leave loading

About the role

Our Private Rental Access Program (PRAP) Team make their impact by working directly with people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness to support them into private rental accommodation. As a PRAP Worker, you’ll be helping people by supporting and advocating their access to the private rental market, support services and financial assistance.

The role is based mainly in our Werribee office, with travel to Seddon once per week.

To thrive in this role, you will be an empathetic and calm communicator, resilient and who people tend to look to in a crisis.  You are driven to help others and have an ability to look beyond challenging words and behaviours to get to the root of a problem in a way that leaves people feeling supported and listened after their experience with Unison.

You may already bring knowledge of the social housing sector to hit the ground running in this role, or you may instead have life experience or an ability to quickly learn that is equally aligned to Unison’s mission.

A full Victorian Drivers Licence is essential in this role.
