Position Title: Social Enterprise Cleaner

About the role

Responsible for delivering high quality cleaning services across Unison’s portfolio of properties including social housing, private rentals and mixed-use commercial and residential buildings, your duties will include:

• Cleaning of common areas.
• Manual tasks (involving operating heavy cleaning equipment).
• Handling and use of cleaning chemicals.
• Waste management (moving heavy bins and hard waste removal such as couches, fridges).

This is a casual position primarily based at our Kensington office with potential to become a permanent role for the right person. The casual hourly rate of the role is $32.31 inclusive of casual loading (plus super).

What we’re looking for

We are looking for someone who is resilient when faced with challenging behaviours, has the confidence to effectively work unsupervised, and can complete their allocated tasks in an efficient, professional and timely manner.

Due to the nature of this role, we require someone who is physically fit for heavy lifting and has a driver’s license to travel to different sites.

Previous commercial or professional cleaning experience is desirable to ensure you understand OH&S practices and safe manual handling, however if you are a fast learner and committed, we would still love to hear from you.
