Status: Full-time, Fixed term (12 months)

Award: SCHADS Level 6

Salary: Approx. $110k plus super & leave loading

About the role

As the Supportive Housing Site Manager, you’ll lead the day‑to‑day operations of Unison’s supportive housing site, overseeing tenancy management, resourcing and incident response while guiding Place Managers to deliver high‑quality, person‑centred tenancy services. You’ll build strong, collaborative relationships with onsite support partners and security staff, act as an escalation point for complex renter needs, and ensure complaints and incidents are handled proactively and with care. A key part of the role is engaging with a wide range of stakeholders including neighbours, police, council and community organisations to strengthen partnerships, resolve concerns and support a safe, stable community.

The role is primarily based at our Seddon office.

We’re looking for someone who brings:

  • Strong tenancy management experience and knowledge of the RTA
  • The ability to apply legislation with clarity and compassion when working with vulnerable people
  • A leadership style that prioritises wellbeing and safety of staff
  • Strong stakeholder and onsite partnership skills
  • A proactive, collaborative, and solutions‑focused approach, with the ability to remain calm and make grounded decisions under pressure

Desirable:

  • A background supporting people with mental health, substance use and trauma‑related challenges
