To date, 210 Unison residents have had new reverse-cycle air conditioners installed in their homes to improve their comfort, well-being and health. The new systems are energy efficient and keep homes warm in winter and cool in summer.

Unison’s replacement works of over $500,000 were delivered to selected Unison properties deemed eligible, under Solar Victoria’s Community Housing upgrade program. The program is designed to support low income and vulnerable Victorians by replacing older inefficient systems, increase energy efficiency, reduce costs and increase thermal comfort and quality of life.

The program has been a real team effort. Unison’s Property Team worked with the Unison Place Managers and contractors to complete the works with minimum disruption to our renters.
